One thing my husband and I have been horrible about is DATE NIGHT. I am trying to revive the tradition from nothingness. Since we have 4 children and no date budget, this is going to take a lot of creativity. Most of the time we will be staying in. All I can think of is watching a movie at home (we'll request them from the library). Help - I need your ideas!

We like to play a game too. One of our favorites is to play a game of yahtzee (or chess or king's court but those get more competitive because they actually take strategy). And we love to go on walks in the evenings, especially if we can bundle the kids up in the stroller and actually have time to talk. (harder to do with 4 kids though)
you should go retro and do chocolate fondue via candlelight.
I like to read books to my husband. (and he likes to listen)
games are always fun....
tagged you on my blog.
Light a candle at the kitchen table, turn off most of the lights, and just sit and talk (the fondue sounds good!). For free out date nights (which is what we mainly do - free, that is), you could take walks, just sit in the car and talk (! we do it!), run a needed errand, etc. as long as you're talking. I've started to keep lists of things to talk about!
