Bandaids and Kisses

When expecting your first child, you may want to buy stock in band aids. By the time your child is a year old, you will probably have established an owie ritual with your child which goes something like this.

WAAAAA

"Oh no! Little Susie, you're hurt!"
AAAAAA

"Come with Momma and we'll have you fixed up in no time."
(you scoop up your child and rush inside).
AAAAAA

"Now this will just hurt a little bit."
(you clean out the scrape)
AAAAAA

"And now a Band-Aid! Do you want Elmo or Barbie?
(by now the crying has miraculously ceased)!

Yes, Band-aids have a special magic for your little one.
Sometimes Moms need some magic too.

Don't you wish it was that easy to solve all of life's 'owies'? And I'm not talking about eating a bag of chocolate chips from your stash in the pantry -- we want nothing we're going to regret later!

For now, keep your stock of magic Band-Aids on hand for your babies and let me know what you need to solve your problems.

frozen peas work too! (it all started the day my daughter bonked her head and i plonked a bag on the bump, within seconds of eating a magic pea she was better)
--possible side effects, extra bonking, just for more frozen veggies, these bumps are not serious, but they do often result in fake crying intermixed with pleas for peas

yes, we have an 'ice bear' cold pack that is absolutely miraculous for all those little bumps that need something extra ;)
